Evie joined GSDRC in 2013. Previously, she worked as a research consultant providing analysis on social development issues for ODI, IDS, the Commonwealth Secretariat and International Alert among others, and before that with an Open Access scientific publisher.
Her specialisms are in social development, particularly gender and social protection, but she has a broad general knowledge across themes of power, social exclusion, human development, civil society, political economy, participation and vulnerability.
