Melcior graduated with BSc (Business Science) and a BSc (Economics), both from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, in 2007 and 2009 respectively, and MSc in Health Economics and Policy from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics in 2012.
Prior to his appointment in Birmingham (October 2012), Melcior was based in Barcelona working as a junior consultant during two years in a private healthcare sector company. Actually, he is working at Professor Roberts’ team in economic evaluation of Sexual Health.
