Dr Odette Chagoury is the Senior Trials Manager within the Primary Care Clinical Research and Trials Unit (PC-CRTU). She leads the Trial Management Team on an operational level.
Odette has a PhD in Cancer Immunology and her main research interest is Immunity and Infection. She directly manages this portfolio of studies within the Unit.

Biography
Odette Chagoury qualified with a BMedSc (Hons) in Medical Science from the University of Birmingham in 2005. Following on from her undergraduate research in colorectal cancer she went on to study for a PhD in Cancer Research in the Department of Cancer Studies which she was awarded in 2009. This work focused on cancers of the blood system (leukaemias),and in particular finding ways to engage the body’s immune system in the treatment of these diseases. After developing a keen interest in tumour immunology, Odette continued to work in the department as Post-Doctoral researcher studying the immune response to members of the herpesvirus family.
In 2010 Odette moved departments to work within the Primary Care Trials Unit. Her main research interest is still Immunity and Infection and she directly manages the portfolio of studies that fall into this research theme. In addition she leads the Trial Management Team on an operational level.
