Angharad graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2011, with a BSc (Hons) in Medical science (Pharmacology). She then started working in an aseptic lab helping with the production of chemotherapy based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Angharad has been working at the NIHR Horizon Scanning Centre as part of the drugs team since March 2012. The NIHR HSC provides early warning to the Department of Health of new and emerging technologies that may require evaluation, consideration of clinical and cost impact, or modification of clinical guidance.
