Biography

Joyeeta received her Biomedical Sciences degree (with honours) in 2006 from St. George’s, University of London. She then completed a MSc in Public Health and Health Promotion at Swansea University in 2008. From 2009 to September 2011, Joyeeta worked within the Public Health and Policy Department at the University of Liverpool on two European Union funded public health projects; one which looks at urban health indicators via population surveys across various European countries (EURO-URHIS 2), the other which looks at best practice in the use of structural funds across European countries (EUREGIO III). In October 2011, Joyeeta then took up her current post as a PhD student within the Centre for Childhood Cancer Survivor Study Studies where her research focus is looking at the effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment for survivors of childhood cancer.
