Peter Eddowes first came to Birmingham to study medicine in 2000. He graduated with honours in 2005. He undertook medical training jobs in the West Midlands before relocating to Nottingham in 2007. There, he continued his medical training focusing on hepatology. He returned to The University of Birmingham in 2013 to study for an MD.
His research interest is the non-invasive assessment of liver disease. His current work primarily focuses on the use of MRI in the diagnosis and staging of chronic liver disease.
