I am a tutor in Spanish for the Department of Modern Languages since September 2001. I previously worked in the Department of Development Administration in the School of Public Policy in a European Commission project and in European Marketing and Sales.

I am a qualified teacher holding a certificate in teaching Adults in Higher Education. I have taught Spanish at the Universities of Birmingham and Aston and as a Visiting lecturer at the Universities of Buckingham and Wolverhampton. At the University of Wolverhampton I have been involved in various European Union projects teaching Spanish to UK Business leaders and medical staff.
In my role as a language tutor/module convenor in Spanish, I have the responsibility for designing and delivering Spanish module programmes and assessing students. At the Department of Modern Languages I have taught undergraduates and open access courses and designed the corresponding assessments and final year exams. This year I teach:

I have worked as a translator and interpreter for the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, the National Exhibition Centre, the University of Birmingham, UK and Spanish agencies and European firms. I have also taught Spanish at the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and in industry.
