Claire has a MEng in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Birmingham’s College of EPS and has gained experience in the healthcare industry, working as a researcher for both growth consultancy and medical device companies.
Working closely with CMDS Research Facilitators and Alta Innovations, Claire will provide practical support for academics to establish freedom to operate, to identify new intellectual property and to support the development of commercial opportunities, through filing patent applications, preparing business plans and sourcing commercial development funding.
