Gang is a Research Fellow in the advanced materials processing group. He joined this group in February 2011. He received PhD at the University of Birmingham in March 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Tim Button.
He is currently working on the microturbo project. His research work can be summarized as near net shape processing and characterization of ceramics including the complex shape of turbine blade.
