Pam's administrative career spans the private and public sectors. She joined the University of Birmingham in 2001 as an administrator on the Probation Studies and Social Work programmes.
She joined the Centre of Excellence in Interdisciplinary Mental Health (CEIMH) as an Administrative Co-ordinator in 2005 which involved her in administering CEIMH events, dealing with financial arrangements and providing administrative support to CEIMH team members.
She combined this role with being a member of CEIMH's multimedia team. As a member of this team she took the lead in designing and maintaining CEIMH's website and preparing powerpoint and digital resources for CEIMH presentations. Pam had accredited expertise in non-linear film editing using Final Cut Studio and website development using Dreamweaver. As part of her role she assisted mental health service users involved with CEIMH to develop websites and the skills required to create and publish video based teaching and learning materials. She also contributed to professional training programmes and made presentations at local, national and international conference events.
