The easiest way to apply for a place in University accommodation is to complete the online application form, following the instructions as you go.
The online application form for all students for the 2012/2013 is now open, along with applications for overseas students who are attending an English Presessional course in the current 2011/2012 academic year. Please click the link below to start your application process
We can also now confirm that the 2012/2013 residence fees have been announced for most sites. Please view the "Student villages and hall of residence" section for further details.
Due to the large number of accommodation applications, it is wise to submit your preferences as early as possible after your offer of a course has been made.

UK students are not guaranteed a place, but are welcome to apply for accommodation at the University.
Gap year students
Students taking a gap year with an unconditional offer from Birmingham who have previously applied for accommodation will need to re-submit an application by clicking the above "apply online" link, as your initial application will be not be valid for the 2012/2013 academic year.

If you apply for accommodation before the deadline, your accommodation will usually be allocated during July.
