Learning Objectives
On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
• Understand the philosophy behind ergonomic practice
• Understand the need for consideration of physical fit in the design of work, workplaces and equipment
• Understand and use ergonomic methods and techniques for risk assessment and identification of workplace risk factors
• Conduct a preliminary assessment to evaluate risks to the musculoskeletal system from poor ergonomic design and recommend suitable control measures

This course is designed for individuals with an interest in ergonomics, but specifically for those involved in occupational health, including physicians, nurses and physiotherapists
