Programme overview
This interdisciplinary programme involves staff from a number of schools within the College of Arts and Law, each providing a different area of expertise in the subject area.
The programme is intended for those preparing for doctoral research. It combines training in research skills and methodology with the writing of a 20,000-word dissertation, supervised by one of our staff, who offer a range of expertise in the history of Christianity from the 1st to the 21st century.
It consists of three elements which make a total of 180 credits:

20,000 word thesis (120 credits)

Writing the History of Christianity (40 credits)

Research Skills Training OR any 20 credit module from the History of Christianity MA (20 credits)
