Suitable candidates for the PhD/MSc by Research can register on the basis of either full or part time study in a range of nursing related topics. As a research student you have opportunities to interact with other researchers from a wide range of academic disciplines. Within the School our postgraduate researchers have access to a variety of postgraduate courses to support the development of research skills.

Psychological Health & Well-being: (Particularly - psychological trauma populations, psychological treatment interventions, performance enhancement, humanitarian assistance, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy, mixed research methodologies, Interpretative Phenomenology, severe and enduring mental health problems, hoarding and obsessive compulsive disorder)

Following graduation, Postgraduate Researchers in the College MDS gain employment in a variety of areas though with a majority continuing in research, mostly in Academia but also in the Health, Pharmaceutical, and Biotechnology sectors. Others pursue careers in Education, Publishing, Intellectual Property Protection, Technology Innovation, Business, and more besides.
