Type of Course: Taught
Duration: MSc:13 months full-time, up to 6 years part-time. The masters modules are scheduled to run in week or two/three day blocks. If you decide to do only one module per semester, you only need to be at the University for the duration of that module.
Start date: September. Although we do not set application deadlines, we do encourage all applicants to submit a completed application as soon as they can so that we can begin the admissions process, allowing us time to invite you for an interview. Overseas - Bare in mind visa applications can take some time.
Entry requirements
Admission to the programme is on the basis that applicants will have a BSc/BA Honours degree or equivalent. (Evidence of equivalence of your qualification(s) to the UK educational system of awards can be found at www.naric.org.uk). The degree should normally be a first- or upper second-class Honours degree.

If you are an overseas applicant and English is not your first language you must provide evidence that you meet our standard English language requirements
IELTS – 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band.
TOEFL - Internet based 93 overall with no less than 22 in Reading, 21 in Listening, 23 in Speaking, 21 in Writing.

2012/13 programme fees
UK/EU students
Full-time minimum programme fee – MSc £4950 / PG Dip £3300 / PG Cert £1650
Part-time students are billed by the modules they opt to take each year.
Non UK/EU students
Full-time minimum programme fee – MSc £12,750
Students choose four option modules as part of the MSc Health Studies programme and some of the modules available carry an extra cost. Therefore, the total fee for the MSc programme will be contingent on the option modules selected as part of your studies.
