Public Health in Developing Countries

Summary

This module deals with specific public health issues affecting developing countries. Taking a global and broad view of health, it looks at the issues relating to provision of services, control and surveillance of disease, the impact of globalisation, the promotion of health in developing settings, and the problems that relate to natural and man-made disasters. Teaching includes presentations from individuals with field experience in developing country settings.
