This smart accommodation, which opened in 2008, consists of single-sex apartments with six bedrooms in each. All student bedrooms have en suite facilities and a shared kitchen/lounge dining area. The bedrooms are fully furnished and cabled to provide a free internet service which also enables you to view television over the network.

Residents’ Life Co-ordinator
Unique to Birmingham Foundation Academy, the Residents’ Life Co-ordinator will live on site, as a first point of contact for Foundation Academy students. They will provide advice and guidance, help you to familiarise yourself with campus buildings, facilities and services, shopping areas, places of interest, and local transport networks, and will arrange suitable social gatherings.
Your catered package
Your accommodation is provided with a catered package and most dietary requirements can be catered for. Food is provided during term times (17 September - 7 December 2012, 7 January - 22 March 2013 and 22 April - 14 June 2013).
You can take your meals and snacks at any of the catering outlets, including Fusion, Rios and Pizza Shack at the Hub on the Vale, as well as 17 other cafés and snack bars across the campus.
Please note: Accommodation and catering is a compulsory part of your package, unless: a) a student under 18 can provide evidence that they will be living with a guardian who is local to the University; b) a student is bringing a family and suitable accommodation outside the University can be secured; or c) a medical reason is given that catering is not suitable for a student.
