This module provides an introduction to the concept of environmental science. Through the use of lectures and workshops we will develop an understanding of how the fundamentals of physical and life sciences (maths, physics, chemistry and biology) can be used to address key environmental issues. The module is specifically designed for students with a limited scientific background.
