Module description

This module provides an introduction to a wide range of organisms that are common components of the fossil record, and investigates in hands-on practical classes: how they would have lived (palaeobiology and palaeoecology); how they are preserved; and how fossils are utilised in determining the age and environment of the sedimentary rocks in which these fossils are contained, as well as providing essential information on the history of life on the planet.
