Module description

This module ranges from the evolution of the theory of plate tectonics to modern studies of the tectonics of both plate and continental margins. As such it includes studies of continental rifting and breakup, seafloor spreading, convergent margins, collision and mountain building. The aim is to give final year students a state-of-the-science overview of the subject.
