KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES:
On completion of this module the student will be able to:
1. Understand the historical development in the understanding of higher cognitive functions.
2. Distinguish between agnosia, prosopagnosia, neglect, dyspraxia, frontal lobe syndrome, dyslexia, dysphasia, dysgraphia, deficits of working memory and amnesia.
3. Discuss different levels of deficit for each of the above conditions within information processing frameworks.
4. Demonstrate how different levels within an information processing model may be assessed.
