KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES:
On completion of this module the student will be able to:
Give an account of the history and current status of the main areas of personality.
Evaluate critically on the basis of empirical evidence the major theories of personality.
Use examples from real life to illustrate different theories and approaches in personality psychology.
Identify the important issues involved in the choice of personality tests for specific purposes.
5. Use the results of research in personality to answer questions about the individuality of their own and other people’s behaviour.
6. Evaluate research and testing traditions.
