KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES:
On completion of this module the student will be able to:
1. define social psychology and its fundamental axioms;
2. demonstrate awareness of historical development of social psychology as a discipline;
3. describe the motivational and processing principles that guide social perception and behaviour;
4. define key constructs in each of the topic areas covered;
5. describe and compare/evaluate key theories in each of the topic areas covered; and
6. apply key constructs to real-world contexts (e.g., media).
