Module description

An appreciation for the various personality and social-psychological factors that underlie participation, adherence, and performance in physical activity contexts is an important aspect of Sport and Exercise Science. This module offers a broad survey of the sport and exercise psychology literature. The module examines individual participants in sport and exercise, research on groups, group processes, and intergroup relations, strategies used for performance enhancement and material on psychological health and well-being.
