Module description

This module, which is taught throughout in the German language, begins with the study of German legal history and development and an introduction to the sources of German Law. It familiarises the students with key aspects of German Constitutional Law (Grundgesetz), in particular with the organs of the state and the legal institutions. It equips the students with knowledge about the hierarchy of norms, the court structure and the German legal profession.
