Module description

This module examines some of the key works of American and Canadian Literature from the 1920s. It combines close readings of the fiction with wider assessments of the decade, focusing on such issues as the dominance of consumer culture, shifting gender roles, post-war economic growth and prosperity, and the loss of ideals.
