Module description

This module will present in chronological order an overview of the archaeological and historical evidence from the period of the origin of agriculture down to the Middle Bronze age. Within the chronological framework, historical developments, archaeological evidence and artistic output will be integrated in individual lectures. More specific case studies of particular reigns, sites and issues are also incorporated into the lecture programme.
