Module description

By the end of the course most participants will be able to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. They will be able to introduce themselves to others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where s/he lives, people s/he knows and things s/he has.
(Basic User A1 common European Framework).

Teaching and learning methods

Practical language classes involving both whole-group and small group/pair work activities. Students’ active participation is fostered via the use of visual aids, audio/video recordings and the Internet. 2 contact hours a week.
