Module description

A course for people who are already comfortable dealing with simple and routine practical tasks (basic personal and family information, shopping, directions, etc). By the end of the course, participants can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. They can describe in simple terms aspect of their background and immediate environment. (Basic User A2 Common European Framework).

Teaching and learning methods

Practical language classes involving both whole-group and small group/pair work activities. Students’ active participation is fostered via the use of visual aids, audio/video recordings and the Internet. 2 contact hours a week.
