Module description
This module will build upon the knowledge acquired in LC Level 3 (Open Access). The course aims at the acquisition of a sound grammatical knowledge and more complex grammar for communicative competence and developing further skills to cope with various daily and slightly complicated situations. By the end of this course, you are expected to be able to talk about you experience, ability, expressing your opinion, etc. You also learn approximately 100 new Kanji (Japanese Chinese script).
Aspects of modern Japan will be introduced.
Teaching and learning methods
Practical language classes involving both whole-group and small-group/pair-work activities with emphasis on oral communication, use of visual aids, audio/video recordings and use of language laboratory where appropriate.
