The course is designed to introduce the student with little or no knowledge of the language to the Portuguese-speaking world.
The module aims to develop the four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) by exposing the students to a range of written and spoken registers of European and Brazilian Portuguese through a combination of textual and visual elements. The three weekly hours integrate contextualized exercises and activities to develop the student’s ability to use the grammar structure and vocabulary in order to communicate effectively individually, in pairs or small groups in a variety of real-life situations and related to cultural and civilization aspects of the Portuguese-speaking world.
