Module description

the course will address questions as to how to read the twentieth-century Hispanic novel, with specific reference to the development of the Spanish-American novel tradition and the impact of the 'Boom'. Specific coverage will be given to the re-emergence of the Romance versus Realism debate in the concept of 'magical realism'.
