Module description


This module aims to build on reading, writing, speaking and aural comprehension skills acquired in the first year beginners Portuguese course and it will prepare the student for the self-motivated learning and development required in the third year, abroad.
The four weekly hours are distributed between communicative language and grammar (2 hours per week); Translation classes (1 hour per week). The fourth hour will focus on language structure reinforcement and on text comprehension and production to develop reading and writing skills and to promote the development of independent responses to Portuguese-Speaking World literature, history and cultures.
