Module description
The module will provide students with the opportunity to pursue their interests in aspects of European cinema in greater depth by writing an extended essay, based substantially upon independent study. In semester 1, all students will follow core sessions in research and ICT skills. Contact time for these will be adjusted in relation to the group size and the students' existing research skills and previous experience of independent study. During these hours, students will be encouraged to develop their extended essay topic and will give a short outline of their topic. In addition, students will receive up to four 30-minute individual supervisions in the course of the year.
