The module will use models of curriculum development appropriate to the development of Community, Play and Youth Work curriculum. It will start with the identification of learning needs and explore how to develop programmes of activity designed to meet those needs and to evaluate outcomes.
Contents
This module places Community, Play and Youth Work in the context of an informal education process, committed to social, political and spiritual education. The underlying principles of education, equal opportunities, empowerment and participation will be conceptualised as the cornerstones of the curriculum. The content of the module will include:
