Through a series of inputs, reading and reflection the module will study the role of Community, Play and Youth Workers as informal educators. There will be an opportunity to explore values and the theoretical foundations of informal education. It will go on to consider the role and purpose of curriculum in relation to identification of learning needs and the development of activity to meet those needs. Values and ethics will be discussed as part of reflecting on practice, evaluation and desired outcomes.
