This is the first of a new sport policy strand that will run through the three years of the programme. The module will introduce students to key aspects of sport and leisure management policy in the UK. It will develop students¿ knowledge and understanding of key government policies focusing upon community, elite and school sport. Students will be introduced to the fundamental issues associated with the management of sport and will examine the `place¿ of sport and leisure within British society.
