Module description

This module is focused on organisational issues and participants are introduced to ways of organising learners for both formal and informal learning. Learner participation is explored as is the support that is necessary for people with learning difficulties to learn in inclusive environments. Collaboration between learners, families and professionals is at the centre of the module and practical aspects of developing good practice are examined. The module concludes with consideration of transitions that people with learning difficulties will experience throughout their lives, particularly from home to school and from school to adult services.
