The module will include knowledge of the triad impairments in ASD and the educational implications of these; knowledge of the educational approaches used with pupils with ASD to address those difficulties and ensure access to a broad and relevant curriculum; skills in planning, delivering and monitoring strategies to meet the needs of children with ASDs, as appropriate to the particular professional role of each student; knowledge of ways of working in partnership with parents/carers; skills in the development of ways of working in partnership with parents/carers.
