Module description

This Module is concerned with the key areas of understanding required for the successful development, management and support of the learning process for adults with a visual impairment. It covers the key factors involved in the management of learning such as the development of appropriate environments and specialist resources to support effective learning, and the key areas where additional support may be necessary including social and emotional adjustment, access to the additional curriculum and access to employment, rehabilitation and training.
