Module description

In this module students will consider key developments in thematic concerns in African and Caribbean literatures in post-colonial contexts. Through the study of a range of poetry and prose fiction, students will engage with the tensions between former and current consciousness. Students will be introduced to post-colonial theory, and will apply theory to practice in analysis of literary texts.
