This module is designed to continue the provision of opportunities for students to apply the values, knowledge and skills acquired in the modules so far to practice settings with a specific service user group in a social work agency. It will continue to encourage students to inform their practice with research based learning from a variety of sources, some governmental and some professional. It will enable them to clarify, understand and find appropriate solutions to the ethical and professional dilemmas which face social workers in practice. It will give an understanding of the basic elements and importance of risk assessment.
