Module description

At this Postgraduate level, the module aims to equip students to critically analyse both the context of Partnership and interdisciplinary working for public sector agencies, and the impact of modernisation and devolution drivers, arising from this, for their own organisations, througha critical review of organisational theory. Additionally, the module aims to enable students to develop a critical awareness of theory and research informing partnership working and collaboration, and to be able to analyse and evaluate their own value-base, performance and development against research-based criteria. Students will also be equipped to analyse and critically appraise the development of their staff in terms of their partnership working skills, informed by research as to best practice and organisational objectives and targets.
