Module description

The module enables programme participants to become familiar both with the history of services for mentally ill people and how this influences the role of particular professional groups and with competing models of explanation of the origins of mental distress and how it should be dealt with. The module is offered at both H and M Levels in order to facilitate access as widely as possible in order to meet the learning needs of participants and employee development needs of organisations.
