This module is designed to prepare students for their 2 x 100 day Practice Learning Opportunites (work based placements). One placement takes place in year 1 of the MA course and one in year 2 of the MA course. The first 100 day placement is usually in a private, independent or voluntary organisation providing social care services and the second in a statutory social work agency.
This module provides knowledge of all aspects of practcie learning including the process, the portfolio requirements and the expectations of them as student social workers in agencies.
This module is delivered in year 1 and year 2 of the course.
