Module description

This module will explore characteristics of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working within adult care services and strategies for managing the difficulties that can arise.


Whilst addressing to a degree all elements of the common framework of knowledge and skills outlined in paragraph 26 of the GSCC document: "Specialist standards and requirements for post qualifying social work education and training: Social work with adults" (GSCC 2006), the module addresses particularly those elements concerning inter-professional, multi-agency working, networking, community based services and accountability. The module is offered at both H and M levels in order to facilitate access as widely as possible in order to meet the learning needs of participants and employee development needs of organisations.
