Module description

This module explores the implications of the modernisation and change agendas in criminal justice. Key aspects of this agenda will be critically explored including the development and implementation of central and local criminal justice policy; strategic management in criminal justice; partnerships with local authorities, health and other relevant organisations; service design and delivery; performance management and best value; political, citizen, court and community accountability; the role of voluntary criminal justice organisations; and policy and practice to ensure social inclusion. The content will be regularly updated to reflect changes in central and local government policy.
