Module description

These linked modules will provide students with an introduction to public policy management in the UK and internationally, drawing on the experience and wide expertise available within the School of Public Policy. The modules will explore the developing agenda of public management, especially in the context of 'new public management' to 'modernisation'. To illustrate this change in a number of specific policy areas will be addressed - possible examples include: managing poverty, environmental management, managing regeneration, housing policy management, and management of the police service.
