Module description

In this module students will be presented with some of the fascinating philosophical problems that are thrown up by work being done in cognitive science and related disciplines. Philosophical problems are notoriously difficult to tackle, so a methodology will be presented to enable students to provide several, reasonable solutions to any problem. Students will be encouraged to devise their own theories and develop their own ideas by being shown the value of pluralism, proliferation and pancritical rationalism.
