Module description
This module develops the ideas introduced in the soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering module (CE2SMG) taken by all students in the second year. It covers the topics of site investigation, basic geotechnical design parameters, the design of shallow foundations, the behaviour of deep foundations and the design of single piles.
